Upsilon Acrux, one of the most intricate and intense instrumental groups to emerge from California's "brutal prog" / post punk / rock undergrounds in the later 90's / early aughts returns to the stage for the first time in seven years. After an extended sojourn in Taiwan where he immersed himself in Taipei's vibrant free improvisation, experimental and rock milieus, Upsilon founder Paul Lai has relaunched the latest iterration of the group locked on new, unexpected vectors of brilliance.
