  • When Terry Buonforte, a seasoned hit man in the Chicago Outfit, gets out of jail and is ordered by his boss to have a bespoke wardrobe made by the mob boss’s own tailor, the process unexpectedly leads him to self-reflection, romance, and — just as he’s about to find happiness — his own death.

Directed by Johanna McKeon and written by Craig Wright. McKeon is the resident director of the Funny Girl First National Tour currently running at the Ahmanson with a long list of Broadway and directing credits. Upcoming: world premiere of The National Pastime by Rogelio Martinez at Syracuse Stage. She is a co-founder of the Susan Sontag Prize for Translation and served as a panelist for The Herb Alpert Award in the Arts in 2020. She is the recipient of Drama League, Boris Sagal, and Fulbright Fellowships. MFA UT Austin.

Craig Wright has written a number of plays and received several awards for his writing, including the Helen Hayes/Charles MacArthur Award for Best New Play (for Melissa Arctic) and has been the recipient of fellowships from the McKnight Foundation, the Jerome Foundation, and the NEA. For his work as a writer on Six Feet Under, he received an Emmy nomination, and a Writer’s Guild of America award for his work on Lost.
