EThe Dumes channel the chaos of a strange, toxic, and cyclical world into their own brand of raw, infectious music. Their sound fuses melodic sensibilities with an aggressive edge, often within a single track, balancing catharsis and confrontation in equal measure. They recorded their debut EP with Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (Morrissey, Spoon, The Shins) at the legendary Sunset Sound Studios.
Originally rooted in Los Angeles, The Dumes have since relocated to Portland, OR, bringing their sharp songwriting and restless energy to a new scene. They’ve shared the stage with artists like Peter Frampton, The Warning, Sammy Hagar, Everclear, Sheryl Crow, and Louise Post of Veruca Salt, and have made repeat appearances at major festivals like SXSW. Now, The Dumes are gearing up to release a new EP, crafted with acclaimed producer Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith, Kurt Vile, Joyce Manor) at MANT Studios. linktr.ee/thedumes
