For the past two decades, the Audubon Center at Debs Park has shown itself to be leading example for how conservation organizations can work within our cities to cultivate a deeper relationship between people and place. Through monthly hikes, restoration days, bird walks, field trips, move nights, community festivals, and hosting gatherings like these each and every month, we’re so grateful for the humans of the Audubon Center and the advocacy they hold between both local culture and native ecology.
Matthewdavid needs no introduction. What began with Brainfeeder has led to a movement and over the past 15yrs Matthew as a musician has flipped some of the most gravity defiant beats and as a label head has brought us a decade and a half of life changing music via Leaving Records. He also hosted a long-running show on dublab, started and curates Listen To Music Outside In The Daylight Under A Tree, and amidst sooo much else has likely given you tips on how to operate your bedroom label or answered your very niche questions like what is a norns tho.
We’ve been riding with Matthew & Leaving for most of these last fifteen and goddesses willing we’ll be here for at least fifteen more. Byoblanket this afternoon and come thru the Audubon Center at Debs Park to get cozy with Matthewdavid’s Winter Zither on this fine solstice, featuring friend(s), all donation based all ages all genre all love all afternoon.
