Amateur Circus presents the world premiere of Real Life Thing, the live concert film for Sam Blasucci’s new album of the same name. The show will feature a very special performance by Leng Bian followed by the screening of the film.
The film was shot entirely at Carbonite Sound in Ojai, CA and edited/colored by Sam and Bryce Makela. The film runs like a sort of musical play with stagehands, set changes and different backdrops for each scene, turning the songs on this album into a literal real life thing through visual representations of each piece. The film features the “SamBand” as well as a number of guest musicians including Randal Fisher, Andres Renteria, Stewart Forgey, Rayla Johnson, Dylan Hadley, Karina Alterman and Jason Roberts.
