Villa Aurora is thrilled to reopen its doors to the public on August 30, reviving the historic artists’ residence cultural programming. Join a free public Open House from 5–7pm to celebrate the house's return following the 2025 Pacific Palisades wildfire. Wander through the Villa’s stunning grounds, explore stations spotlighting the residency's fellowship program (including the Feuchtwanger Fellowship for persecuted writers and journalists), and catch the 5pm homecoming of two treasures rescued from the fire: a 1932 portrait of Marta Feuchtwanger and an 18th-century Book of Esther scroll. 520 Paseo Miramar, Pacific Palisades.
