Nate Ward / Jordan Hook

Nate Ward, formerly of Pacific Range and Glenn Annie, found himself... bored... after canceled tours during lockdown, and thus began writing about his changing world. With Stewart Forgey, Cameron Wehrle, Derek Doszkocs, Clay Finch, and Katie Skene's help, he created Truth Takes Time. Recorded at Dan Horne's Universal Hair Farm Studios, it exudes a warm, vintage vibe with acoustic-driven melodies. Inspired by folk legends like Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, and artists like The Band and Tom Petty, the album resonates with Southern California Americana, reminiscent of 1960s Laurel Canyon. Reflecting lockdown moods, it explores themes of estrangement and hope.
