LA comedy darlings Kate Zasowski and Matt Duckett conclude their Pretty Gay/Kinda Black Tour with a double album recording!
Kate Zasowski is a queer writer/comedian originally from Rochester, NY who lives in LosAngeles. Her work centers on the LGBTQ community, flawed but lovable female characters, and mental illness. She is represented by IAG and Avail Comedy. Most recently, Kate was the writers’ assistant for the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, hosted by Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, and broadcast on Bravo.
Kate is a recipient of the Upright Citizen's Brigade Diversity Scholarship, where she hascompleted the Improv and Sketch programs. She does stand-up around the country andperforms in LA with her improv team Pretty Ugly, a house team at the Pack Theater with shows every 2nd Friday. Kate also writes for Brother HQ, TXT Stories, CollegeHumor, Reductress, and McSweeney’s. She co-hosts the podcast Your Hometown Rocks with her hometown friend Ana McCasland.
Matt Duckett is a comedian and writer who uses his biracial background to fuel his humor and perspective on the world. His stand upcovers everything from his upbringing in a "post-racial" society to an ill-advised law school stint, for which he is still in debt.
Matt's stand up clips have garnered tens of millions of views across social media. He performs at prestigious clubs such as the Hollywood Improv, and has opened for the likes of Todd Glass and Morgan Jay. Matt can also be seen at festivals across the country, most recently SF Sketchfest and the Bergamot Comedy Festival. He is also part of the viral indie sketch team, Little French Boy, which has amassed millions of views spoofing everything from the NBA to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
