Hallows / Holy Water

Join us for a night of modern electronic darkwave as Damaged Disco returns to Gold-Diggers on Thursday March 27 with live performances by Hallows and Holy Water, plus music from resident DJ DAT68!

Hallows is a duo consisting of Vanee Dusoruth and Dom Rolando. The band explores themes of unease, longing, and sadness in their music drawing from traditional darkwave but with a modern electronic approach. The pair released music on labels including Phage Tapes and Cold Transmission before releasing their sophomore album, A Quieter Life, via their in-house label Stoic Media in 2023. Their latest single "Find A Way" came out in February. Hallows is touring throughout March and has performed at festivals including Substance Fest, Verboden Fest, and Sanctum.

Holy Water combines a love of electronic dance music with the energy and ethos of punk and hardcore. Jacob Desrochers established Holy Water in 2018 after 12 years doing DJ gigs playing indie dance, tech house, industrial, and post-punk. Jacob came up in the Northern California punk/hardcore scene. His band Lonely Kings released four albums on Fearless Records and toured with bands like At The Drive In, Hot Water Music, The Misfits, and AFI. Since forming Holy Water he has shared the stage with acts including Soft Kill, Actors, Adult., TR/ST, Glass Spells, Cold Cave, and Sacred Skin.

With resident DJ DAT68 spinning minimal wave, dark disco, industrial, and post-punk.

Damaged Disco night is a monthly event with live performances of minimal synth and post-punk artists curated by the Damaged Disco label, happening on the last Thursday of each month at Gold-Diggers.
