Free Screenings @ American Cinematheque for National Shutdown

In solidarity with the National Shutdown, American Cinematheque will not be charging admission to screenings on Friday, January 30, 2026.

They will now be offering free admission to SOMETHING WILD at the Aero Theatre, and HORSE FEATHERS and THE KILLING OF A CHINESE BOOKIE at the Los Feliz 3. Tickets will not be available online, simply speak with our theatre staff at the box office for entry. Free popcorn and soda will be available at the Aero Theatre (Santa Monica).

If you’ve already purchased a ticket to any of those screenings or the sold-out screenings of THE NATURAL, CHRONOLOGY OF WATER, or A USEFUL GHOST, they will honor your ticket.
