MARTÍN ESCALANTE is a self taught musician and filmmaker. Sploosh Records (started 2012) is where he has published his music on saxophone, as a soloist and with many collaborators. In 2016, Escalante began playing frequently in Mexico, the US and Peru with the musicians MoE, Rodrigo Ambriz, Sissy Spacek, Matt Mottel, and others. From 2019 he made several trips to Japan, touring and playing with Otomo Yoshihide, Tatsyusa Yoshida, Ryoko Ono, Jun Numata, Toshi Mikawa, Nonoko Yoshida, Mitsuru Tabata, Toshimaru Nakamura and others. In May 2025 he launched a new label called Wash and Wear Records.

CAMERON PRESLEY is a guitarist and founding member of the brutal prog band Upsilon Acrux (1997-2000). Returning from a 23-year hiatus of musical inactivity, he formed the free music trio VCU with multi-instrumentalist Nathan Berlinguette and saxophonist Ryan Ebaugh, releasing their debut album in January 2025 on the UK label Chocolate Monk. Cameron’s current focus is performing solo acoustic archtop guitar with prepared speakers and improvising with others.

Corey Fogel (b 1977) is a composer, drummer, and artist based in Los Angeles. He works across genre and medium to explore many facets of improvisation. He approaches sounds, textiles, collaborators, gestures, and objects as viable materials for spontaneous, strategized, time-based experimental performance, often incorporating sculpture, video, music traditions, theatricality, and ritual.
