An indie bedroom pop trio outfit based out of Austin, TX, Dress Warm looks to take internal feelings to the outside world. The group, founded from the instrumental division of Hall Johnson, looks to continue their deep dive into experimenting with home recordings and songwriting as Dress Warm grows as a project. Blending the upbeat harmony frequencies that are reminiscent of Good Morning and the singer-songwriter lo-fi style of Tyler Burkhart, Dress Warm is about finding yourself in your ‘alternate lit’ bedroom at 4 AM and for the sunset drives after a long day at the public pool.
micelf is the solo project of Los Angeles-based musician and storyteller Ciara Sophia Rudas. After self-releasing a CD-only album of raw demos recorded in her mother’s bathroom at 18, it took another seven years, tons of therapy, and communing with mice to nurture melodies and memories created over the first tumultuous years of adulthood.Her debut EP, "Everything, Nothing" explores the existential, the beauty of growth in growing pains, the last kiss, our daily little deaths and absolute death. All of which are stitched together through intimate lyrics, honest vocals and straightforward acoustic guitar, offering a soft space for the listener to find themself in the story.
