Guitarist/composer David Pritchard’s creates unique music for solo and multiple acoustic guitars. His latest recording, Evanescent is described in Acoustic Guitar magazine as “...mining a vein of intricately entwined guitars since his 1990 release, Air Patterns. Boasting ten trancelike yet energetic instrumentals, Evanescent is the apotheosis of Pritchard’s methods and the magical worlds they conjure.” Pritchard’s music has also been performed and recorded by the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and the Aquarelle Guitar Quartet. He has now created his own acoustic guitar trio for the purpose of performing his music that straddles the lines between contemporary classical, jazz, and new acoustic.
