Dark Tea / The Berries / Gabriel Bernini

Dark Tea is the Los Angeles based project of Gary Canino, founded in 2013. Emerging with the debut single "Providence Sky," a duet with Alexandra Savior in 2017, Dark Tea went on to release two critically acclaimed albums on Fire Talk in 2019 and 2021. Dark Tea II featured contributions from Matt Barrick (drummer for The Walkmen) and Loren Humphrey (engineer for Arctic Monkeys, drummer for Florence and the Machine). Endless shows and touring followed from 2017 to 2020, with the open road carrying Dark Tea from Vegas to London. During the lockdown, cinematic music videos were created for tracks like "Academy Award," “Deanna,” and “Highway Mile," with each video serving as a captivating genre exercise, and a self-contained short film in its own right. A five-week national tour with Current Joys in 2022 further expanded Dark Tea’s fanbase, alongside contributions to two songs on Surf Curse's Magic Hour. With the Dark Tea Cinematic Universe established, the bar was raised with 2023’s “Irish Hello,” a captivating film noir experience. Now, Dark Tea is gearing up for a monumental return with its upcoming fifth album, Dark Tea Forever.
