1984 Dystopian Discothèque is a pop up club night that seeks to bridge the gap between live music and DJ / dance floor culture. We kick the night off with live performances from artists that make music you can move to and then dance the night away to a DJ set. Live visuals with a cyberpunk dystopian aesthetic set the tone as we come together to find some joy in a world that can feel so heavy sometimes. This night is built for fans of Boys Noize, Soulwax, and French Touch.
Our next installment will take place Friday October 30th at Media Pollution in LA featuring live performances by Low Hum and I Know I Know along with DJ sets from Possible Oceans, Navah Sea and Jeffertitti. This event will be a visual spectacle thanks to the vintage TV walls throughout the space built by the wizards at Media Pollution.
Costumes are strongly encouraged.
