    Grave Realm presents…

    Pedestrian Deposit
[ Monorail Trespassing - Los Angeles, CA ]

Reverse tension, abrasive composition. The duo of Shannon A. Kennedy and Jonathan Borges is best described as visceral and narrative; informed by elements of experimental sound, harsh noise, musique concrete, neo-classical, dark ambiance and performance art but is not beholden to any one genre. It is best experienced live and in the moment to understand it’s full scope.

PD maintains an adherence to personal integrity and independence – both with live appearances and recordings, which are issued through Monorail Trespassing, the record label Borges has operated for nearly 20 years. Their refusal to play into the corporate re-structuring of the music underground remains a consistent mindset.

Instrumentation consists of physically activated, sculptural instruments made of wood, metal, strings and springs, and gutter electronics.

This is their return home and final date of their two month U.S. tour in support of ‘Dyers’ Hands,’ released March 19th on Monorail Trespassing.

[ Ascetic House / Wharf Cat Records - New York City ]

Horoscope is the multimedia project of Rene J Nunez Cabrera (10/08/1984 Miami Florida). Open to interpretation somewhere between violence and pensive reflection. Embarrassing and cathartic. Typecasted and sold short by labels such “noise, experimental or ambient”. Horoscope has released numerous cassette releases on labels such as Ascetic House (Society of Musical Esotericism), No Rent, Acid Casualty Productions and Wharf Cat and has toured and performed with a wide range of significant artists in the American underground.

[ Dais Records - Los Angeles, CA ]

JH1.FS3 is the duo of Frederikke Hoffmeier (Puce Mary) and Jesse Sanes (Liebestod).

Though each figures individually in the now-generation of industrial noise—as Puce Mary and Liebestod respectively—JH1.FS3 delineates a more subtle “cinema of the ear.” Here, their words are spoken amidst a savvy re-assembly of 20th century avant-sonics: music concrète, technique extension, and pure electronic sound.

They have released a string of hypnotic, textural and intricate experimental electronic works together - beginning with their Fejhed project in 2014, followed by two JH1.FS3 self-released cassettes, and last year’s incredible album, Loyalty, on iDEAL Recordings.

JH1.FS3’s latest work “Trials & Tribulations,” of which Grave Realm had the honor of organizing its release event in January, is available via Dais Records.
